Iranian, Turkish singers to perform in Istanbul

TEHRAN, Jul. 06 (MNA) – Iranian singer Kamran Rasulzadeh will perform a joint concert with Turkish vocalist Murat Kekilli in Istanbul on August 21.

As a part of a program entitled Persian Night, the performance will be held at the Halic Congress Center in Istanbul, Rasoulzadeh said in a press conference at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall on Saturday.

Rasulzadeh said Kekilli is a great, committed singer who had tried to arrange the joint concert in Tehran twice over the past few years, however, the concerts were canceled.

He pointed to an agreement, saying that, "we will possess the copyrights to distribute the video of the concert, and we are planning to film and release the concert here in Iran."

Rasulzadeh had performed Bu Aksam Olurum (Tonight I Will Die) with Kekilli a few years ago.
